I\u2019m concerned Guernsey is becoming more divided.\u00a0 Our education system has become divided by ability to afford fees, and our society is drifting apart.<\/p>\n
Maintaining our competitive position is key for business, but I support islanders who struggle with rising costs of living and housing.<\/p>\n
Families should be able to afford to stay on the island where they grow up, but our services and business need skills from outside too.\u00a0 The balance isn\u2019t right at the moment, change is needed if Guernsey is to remain a great place to call your home.<\/p>\n
If re-elected I\u2019ll continue to stand up for what\u2019s right, and I will use the political experience I\u2019ve gained to work with other newly elected members and existing to bring the changes we need.\u00a0 I\u2019ve brought some fresh thinking to the States, but I want a more open government with greater accountability.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
